Harvest for Hunger coming to Holyoke

CHS is promoting a three-stop fundraiser called Harvest for Hunger. Proceeds will be enhanced by CHS and donated to Food Bank of the Rockies.
Three Cajun boil/mouse race events have been scheduled, with the first set for Wednesday, March 8, at 6 p.m. at Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke.
Additionally, events are planned for Wednesday, March 15, at 6 p.m. at the Washington County Event Center and Saturday, March 18, at 6 p.m. at the Irrigation Research Farm in Yuma.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available from CHS employees.
Last year, more than $650,000 and nearly 400,000 pounds of food were donated to help feed hungry families.
It’s because of the tremendous efforts of CHS Country Operations business units, through fun community-building events and generous donations, that the CHS Harvest for Hunger food, funds and grain drive is once again helping local charities feed families in need.
