Haxtun’s Harts chosen as county fair Grand Marshals
Details of the 2023 Phillips County Fair are out and organizers are gearing up for a full-filled week July 25-30 at the fairgrounds in Holyoke. The local fair board recently announced that Haxtun’s Phil and LaVonne Hart will be honored as Grand Marshals of this year’s week-long event this summer.
The theme for the Fair will be, “Red, White and Blue – Veterans We Honor You!” While the official schedule is still being finalized, the Fair board announced new events like a CPRA rodeo, a hypnotist, kids pedal pull and bingo.
Fair books and event attendance wrist bands will be out in a few months, and will be available at local Haxtun and Holyoke businesses.
