Two shattered windows at Inklings Bookstore caused by a fallen sign are just some of the aftermath of high winds in the region last week. Holyoke experienced 39-mph winds Wednesday, Jan. 13, with gusts up to 66 mph, followed by an equally windy day Thursday, Jan. 14, according to wunderground.com.
