Highline Electric participates in Bike to Work Day, community service

Employees from Highline Electric Association participated in Bike to Work Day last Wednesday, June 28, followed by a community service day to clean up the county roads surrounding Holyoke. The 30 participants who biked or walked to work, which included employees and spouses, received a breakfast burrito and a T-shirt.

There were 44 participants in the community service day from the Holyoke, Sterling and Ovid offices. Employees from the Holyoke office cleaned up 15 miles of county roadways near Holyoke. The Sterling and Ovid offices also did trash cleanup in their areas. The Holyoke office alone took 1,460 pounds of trash to the landfill.
