Holyoke’s 65% is slightly higher than statewide census self-response rate
As of the end of the day May 17, more than 88 million households in the United States had responded to the 2020 census. That may sound like a lot, but it’s less than 60%, meaning there are some 60 million households that still need to respond.
In the state of Colorado, 62.3% of households have responded to the 2020 census online, by phone or by mail. Phillips County has 65.1% response rate so far. Within Phillips County, Haxtun is at 63.7%, Holyoke 65.1% and Paoli 69%.
Looking back to the 2010 census, Phillips County’s final self-response rate was 70.4% while Holyoke’s was 73.3%.
Those who haven’t already done so still have the chance to self-respond. Visit https://my2020census.gov/ to complete the questionnaire online or call 844-330-2020 to participate by phone.
