Jim Fisher honored with new bench at fishing pond

With a last name like Fisher, it was fitting that Jim Fisher spent a great deal of time at the Holyoke Lions Club Fishin’ Hole. After his death in January 2018, memorial funds were directed to the pond project, and Lions Club members decided to honor Fisher by placing a new bench at the pond in his memory. Fisher’s family gathered at the pond last Friday, Aug. 9, to see the new bench.
