Kids rake in the candy

Area children donned their scariest, silliest and most creative costumes to take advantage of the beautiful weather Friday, Oct. 29, and collect loads of candy in time for Halloween. From 2-5 p.m., Trick or Treat the Town, organized by Holyoke Chamber of Commerce, gave kids the opportunity to trick or treat at participating downtown businesses while enjoying beautiful fall weather. In that same time period, kids could get even more candy from nearly 15 different vehicle trunks at Trunk or Treat in the Melissa Memorial Hospital parking lot.
