Kroeger is trapshooting champion of champions
Kendall Kroeger is still new to the sport of competitive trapshooting, but he’s had a standout year. In addition to being the Colorado Amateur Trapshooting Association rookie of the year, he also walked away from the 2017 Pacific International Trapshooting Association Grand Pacific with champion of champions honors.
At the Grand Pacific in Spokane, Washington, this July, Kroeger represented Colorado against champions from each other state. Coming out on top was what earned him the champion of champions title. There he also broke 100 straight in singles for the first time.
It was about two years ago that Kroeger first started registered trapshooting as a member of ATA and PITA. A few years before that, he got into some area trapshooting leagues in Holyoke, Haxtun and Yuma. Kroeger competes in singles, doubles and handicap.
