Legacy Event results tallied
Melissa Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Legacy event, held Saturday, Feb. 11, with a “Fairy Tale” theme, managed to garner its third-highest total ever at $134,806, according to Foundation Executive Director Penny Bailey. This equals nearly $15,000 more than its average over the past five years: around $120,000 annually.
Overall, the event’s silent auction raised $10,206, its live auction $48,230, its character contest $1,390, its raffle $6,700, its bar tips $660, its end-of-the-night game $4,400, and – finally – it raised $63,220 in ticket sales and donations.
