Littlefield begins ministering at Holyoke Assembly of God

They’ve had a couple months to see how the fit works, and now Jay Littlefield and Holyoke Assembly of God are in agreement that he’s the right man for the job. On Dec. 16, he officially became the minister of the church after filling in.
Littlefield and his wife, Linda, recently moved back to Sterling from Sheridan, Wyoming, and he’ll be commuting for his job in Holyoke. The plan was to retire near family, who live in Sterling, Fort Morgan and Brush, but Littlefield is happy to be just semiretired now.
“We are excited about serving here in Holyoke,” he said. “Through the years, we have learned how very much God loves each one of us; how important each one of us is to him; and how his physical, emotional and spiritual healing is available to everyone.”
Having been an ordained Assemblies of God minister for over four decades, Littlefield has pastored in California, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming and Washington. The couple has served churches for 26 years.
Littlefield is also a licensed professional counselor. From 1994-2011, the couple worked in residential treatment in Green Mountain Falls, New Raymer and Sterling. Through that time, they ministered to over 1,500 at-risk adolescents.
