
At long last, Face will bring all-vocal sounds to Holyoke this Sunday
After the original date was canceled due to January snow, Phillips County Arts Council is excited to present Face, an all-vocal band, for the final concert of the 2017-2018 concert series. Face will bring its A Cappella stylings to Holyoke High School’s Heginbotham Auditorium on Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m.
Face is an internationally acclaimed all-vocal band from Boulder, who have been captivating audiences for 15 years with their infectious energy punctuated by an endearing love of performance. They blend modern popular tunes with complex harmonies, brilliant beat-box rhythms and superb singing, taking their audiences on a fantastically fun musical journey.
Performing over 100 shows a year around the world, the band has also competed on the hit NBC series, “The Sing-Off,” headlined in Edinburgh, Scotland’s prestigious Festival Fringe, as well as Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, and has opened for legendary performers such as Jon Bon Jovi, Barenaked Ladies, Jay Leno, .38 Special, The Wailers, Manhattan Transfer, Culture Club & Boy George, Rick Springfield, Cracker and Robin Thicke.
