Look for Easter eggs around town this weekend

First Christian Church’s Easter egg hunt starts Friday, April 2, at noon and ends Sunday, April 4, at 5 p.m.

A dozen eggs will be hidden around Holyoke within city limits and in public places. The challenge is to go out and find every one of them.

Here’s what makes this hunt “eggceptional.” Each egg has a QR code that can be scanned by pointing a phone’s camera at it. Once scanned, it will take participants to an important piece of the Easter story. Even better — each website for the egg’s QR code has a special letter.

Participants should unscramble those letters, then email their answer to fcc@pctelcom.coop to be entered in a drawing to win some cool prizes.
