Mask order extended

With COVID-19 cases increasing in Colorado, Gov. Jared Polis extended Colorado’s mask mandate for another 30 days from Monday, Nov. 9.

The order extends the requirement of people 11 or older to wear nonmedical face coverings over their nose and mouth while in public indoor spaces.

Exceptions to the order remain the same as prior executive orders. Among those who are exempt are individuals who cannot medically tolerate a face covering and individuals who are hearing impaired or otherwise disabled or who are communicating with someone who is hearing impaired or otherwise disabled, and where the ability to see the mouth is essential to communication, among others.
