Mask order extended 30 days

Gov. Jared Polis again extended Colorado’s statewide mask mandate for another 30 days from Sunday, Oct. 11.

The amended order states the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, in consultation with the appropriate local public health administration, may grant waivers for certain indoor activities that take place for a limited time period if such activities cannot practically or safely be performed while wearing a mask.

The order extends the requirement of people 11 or older to wear nonmedical face coverings over their nose and mouth while in public indoor spaces.
