Medicare Part D enrollment open

Open enrollment for Medicare Part D opened Oct. 15 and runs through Saturday, Dec. 7. The Northeast Colorado Area Agency on Aging’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program encourages all Medicare beneficiaries to check their current prescription plans to make sure they won’t be paying too much for drug coverage in 2020.

Megan Pennington, senior service coordinator in Phillips County, is a certified SHIP counselor and can assist beneficiaries in checking their current plan and help them with changing to a new plan if it is needed.
