MMH adopts budgets, certifies mill levy

At a special meeting of the East Phillips County Hospital District on Wednesday, Dec. 8, the board of directors passed a resolution for the adoption of the 2022 operating and capital budgets and certification of the mill levy.
The operating budget was presented on an accrual basis with total income before expenses of $23,045,547, including a mill levy certification of $1,003,205.
Total cash operating expenditures were $21,103,913, which equaled total operating expenses of $22,473,851 minus depreciation expense of $1,369,938. A capital budget of $1,100,117 brought the total cash expenditures to $22,204,030.
The board held a 25-minute executive session regarding personnel and strategy.
