Council lends support to college name change

STERLING JOURNAL-ADVOCATE, Jan. 15 — The Sterling City Council agreed Tuesday night to lend its support to changing the name of Northeastern Junior College.

Lee shared some history on the rise and fall of junior colleges, noting that there are only 15 institutions in the U.S. that are still named as such.
