No monkeying around with summer fun

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the park was closed in late March, and although it was later reopened, the playground remained closed until the city council approved its reopening July 21. The facilities at Holyoke City Park are available for use during normal park hours; however, the bathrooms are still closed. The playground and skate park located at Holyoke Ball Park are also open to the public. Other options for outdoor fun are Homesteaders Park at Phillips County Fairgrounds, which is only open during daylight hours, and the playground at Holyoke Elementary School. — The Holyoke Enterprise | Johnson Publications
