No visitors allowed, services canceled at hospital

Due to the coronavirus, Melissa Memorial Hospital and Family Practice of Holyoke have further restricted visitors. For the time being, visitors are no longer allowed. It is a precaution for their safety and the safety of patients, staff and the community as well as a step to conserve personal protective equipment supplies.

There are two exceptions. Pediatric patients may have one adult visitor with them. Critically/seriously ill or end-of-life care patients may have visitors determined on a case-by-case basis.

Visitors for these patients must be screened at the door and will not be allowed if they are symptomatic unless there is no other alternative. In such cases, they will be required to wear a mask.
