NOEL Christmas Concert is Dec. 15

The Master Chorale, under the direction of Don Johnson, with accompanist Mary C. Smith will present its 28th NOEL Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 4 p.m. in the Dorothy Corsberg Theater at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling. In conjunction with the NJC Foundation, the Master Chorale will award its seventh tuition scholarship to a deserving music student for the spring semester.

The first half of the program starts with “O Come, Let Us Adore Him” by John Francis Wade. The second piece is “O Clap Your Hands” by Ralph Vaughan Williams followed by “Betelehemu,” a Nigerian Christmas song by Via Olatunji and Wendell Whalum with tenor soloist Jerry Skaggs.
