Pages of history unfold at library’s grand anniversary celebration

Heginbotham Library took locals on a trip back in time for a grand celebration Sunday, Sept. 29, at 539 S. Baxter Ave. in Holyoke. The former residence of Will E. Heginbotham has hit the century mark, and the library has been housed there for 50 years. Both the mansion and the grounds looked magnificent for the afternoon program, refreshments, croquet games and library tours.

Residents are encouraged to stop by the library to watch a special video made for the anniversary.
