PCAC fall concerts canceled

Arts Council hopeful that season will resume in January

Phillips County Arts Council members clarified this week that the 2020 fall concert series has been canceled by the decision of Allied Concert Service due to coronavirus issues.

Allied acknowledged that there will be many questions, as they too have many questions. But they hope PCAC members understand their decisions. They appreciate the patience and flexibility shown as they work through a seemingly endless series of changes and problems.

And they look forward to returning to normal concert attendance.

At this point, the plan is to begin the 2021 concert season in January with three concerts scheduled through the winter and spring and two in the fall of 2021.

This 2021 concert season will include the two concerts postponed from last spring, Tony DeSare’s “I Love a Piano” and The Everly Set.

Other concerts scheduled include Seeger to Springsteen, Will Martin and “Remember When Rock Was Young,” an Elton John Tribute.
