Frank Arnold and Glenn Bradford show off their eight-bird bag limit after prairie chicken hunting 18 miles southeast of Holyoke. The photo was probably taken around 1930 when the season was still open for prairie chicken. The prairie chicken population was nearly wiped out in the drought of the Dust Bowl years in the 1930s. — source: Phillips County Museum
