This postcard of a scene looking north on one of Holyoke’s streets was sent from C.W. Sederburg to W.B. Bevard in La Center, Washington, addressed Aug. 29, 1911. The inscription reads, “I have  marked the little Guthrie house where we used to live so you can figure out the different places. The mark on the right is the high school building just started, south of Whites and Kelseys.” Phillips County High School classes were held at Phillips County Courthouse 1910-1911 while the new high school was being constructed. — Source: Phillips County Museum
