In September 1909, Odland had 600 acres of the land in crop — 200 in corn, 300 in small grain, and 100 in cane and millet to furnish feed for his cattle and horses. He had a two-story dwelling house with nine rooms, hall and six closets with a concrete basement of two rooms, as well as a grain elevator with a capacity of 8,000 bushels, a barn and stock barns, a large poultry house, a workshop and blacksmith shop, a well fitted with pump and windmill, two watering tanks, a storage tank and a large reservoir. He also had an orchard of 50 fruit trees, a 4-acre forest tree grove and all kinds of small fruit, not to mention 100 head of thoroughbred Black Poland China and Jersey Red hogs. In September 1909, he sold his large farm to C.F. Parker of Julesburg, consideration in the neighborhood of $33,000. — Source: Phillips County Museum
