Phillips County Extension gives update on local programs

COVID-19 has canceled, postponed or drastically changed the look of many local events. Colorado State University Extension in Phillips County is giving an update on their programs.

 

Virtual livestock nutrition clinic

Week one of the clinic will cover monogastric nutrition and will mainly cover swine. The beginner’s session is on Monday, May 4, at 5 p.m. The advanced session will be Wednesday, May 6, at 5 p.m.

The second week will be over ruminant nutrition and will focus on cattle, sheep, goats and rabbits. The beginner’s session will be Monday, May 11, at 5 p.m. The advanced session will be Wednesday, May 13, at 5 p.m.

Colby Hales is the presenter. He is a CSU alum and is also finishing his master’s at the University of Wyoming.
