Phillips County records 27 more COVID cases

Northeast Colorado showed an 8.7% increase in positive COVID-19 cases since last week’s report, with Phillips County recording 27 more for a 20.5% increase to 159 cases.

The Northeast Colorado Health Department reported Morgan County with 51 deaths, Logan County 25, Washington County 5 and Sedgwick, Yuma and Phillips counties one each.

Colorado has recorded an 18.4% increase in positive COVID-19 cases in the past week, compared to 24.7% the previous week and 20% the week before that.

Positive COVID-19 cases were reported Friday, Nov. 20, as follows:

­— Northeast Colorado: 4,054 cases (increase of 324 in the last week), including Morgan County, 1,384; Logan County, 1,948; Yuma County, 285; Washington County, 183; Phillips County, 159; and Sedgwick County, 95.
