A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado will hold its annual banquet — “United We Stand for Life” — the last weekend in January featuring comedian, author, speaker and national radio host JJ Jasper.

Each year, the pregnancy center hosts its largest fundraiser of the year during the last weekend in January to coincide with the observance of Sanctity of Human Life.

This year’s banquets will take place Friday, Jan. 29, in Sterling Trinity Lutheran gymnasium; Saturday, Jan. 30 at Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke; Sunday, Jan. 31, at Yuma Nazarene Church; and Monday, Feb. 1, at Morgan County Event Center in Brush. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. with the program at 7 p.m.

The pregnancy center is planning overflow banquet seating with a live stream of the event Saturday evening at Holyoke’s First Christian Church and Sunday evening at the Yuma Quintech Center.

The public is invited to participate in this annual event through table sponsorships or by purchasing individual tickets by calling the pregnancy center at 970-842-4324, visiting online at acaring pregnancy.org or dropping by any of the pregnancy center locations during regular operating hours: Brush (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.), Holyoke (Tuesday, 4-6 p.m.), Sterling (Monday-Friday, noon-2 p.m.), Yuma (Monday, 3-5 p.m.) and the Northeastern Junior College campus (by appointment).

Jasper is a comedian, on-air radio personality, best-selling author, dedicated Christian and devoted family man. He hosts a national morning radio show on American Family Radio network to more than half a million listeners in 36 states. He is also a stand-up comedian and the author of “Losing Cooper: Finding Hope to Grieve Well,” “Moses was a Basketcase” and “Jonah had a Whale of a Time.”
