Pugh earns associate degree in nursing

    Corina Pugh graduated with her associate degree in nursing from Illinois Central College on May 20.
    She has accepted and will begin her registered nursing career at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, in late September.
    Pugh is also pursuing her Bachelor of Science in nursing and two certifications in oncology and cardiology.
    Pugh is the daughter of Lucky and Elaine Pugh of Holyoke.
