Quilters showcase over 50 projects

This year’s High Plains Heritage Quilters’ quilt show had 33 finished quilts, 12 unfinished quilt projects and nine quilts for display only Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Haxtun Community Center.

The displayed quilts were from two different charity groups. Haxtun Sew Giving is a group of ladies who put together lap quilts for the nursing home, quilts for cancer patients and whatever else is needed. The second charity group is Quilts of Valor.
