Recipe Train
Linda Alberts says her mom, Eloise Harms, made this recipe when she was growing up. It’s hearty, filling and great for potluck dinners.
Mother’s Noodle Casserole
2 pounds hamburger, browned
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, diced
2 cans French cut green beans
1 can mushroom soup
2 8 ounce packages small noodles, cooked
2 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon chili sauce
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to season
Brown hamburger with green pepper and onion. Drain and add remaining ingredients. Stir together and place in a 9x13 inch pan. Cover with shredded cheese (optional) and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
