Shawna Bergstrom described this dessert as something that can be thrown together with rough measurements. “I used to help my aunt Grace Blanke make these for Christmas,” she said. “We always looked forward to getting them when I was growing up. Now I am passing that on to my family.”
Peanut Butter Bonbons
1 lg jar creamy peanut butter
Approximately 2 cups rice krispies cereal
1 cup powdered sugar
Chocolate almond bark
Mix all ingredients except almond bark. Mixture should be able to be rolled into balls so add powdered sugar and rice krispies to achieve this. Melt the almond bark and dip the peanut butter balls until they are covered. Put on wax paper to dry.
It helps to put the mixture in the fridge before rolling them out.
