Karina Davis is sharing this special oatmeal scotchies recipe that was given to her by her grandma, Betty Kramer, on Jan. 7, 2014.

Oatmeal Scotchies

    1 cup butter
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    3 cups oats
    12 ounces butterscotch morsels
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    
    Combine butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Separately, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Incorporate dry mixture into wet ingredients. Add oats one cup at a time with morsels. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden.
