Regional cases top 1,000

Positive COVID-19 cases were reported Monday, May 11, as follows:

— Northeast Colorado: 1,013 cases including Morgan County, 519; Logan County, 465; Yuma County, 11; Washington County, nine; Phillips County, nine; and Sedgwick County, zero. Morgan County has had 22 deaths and Logan County two. Northeast Colorado Health Department noted that Logan County’s cases include an outbreak at the Sterling Correctional Facility.

— Colorado: 19,879 cases in 60 counties and 987 deaths, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
