Rocketry keeps eyes on the sky
Eyes were turned skyward after multiple successful launches in the model rocket expo Friday afternoon at the Phillips County Fair.
Coordinated by Extension agent Tracy Trumper, the event was a fun one for the participants, even though the crowd was small.
Phillips County Family Education’s after-school program partnered with 4-H coordinator Kindra Plumb once a month for the 2018-19 school year to learn about 4-H.
Plumb gave the participating students several options for a project to focus on, and this year they chose rocketry.
