Rodriguez, Tomky wed in June

Imer Eli Rodriguez Zayas and Darci Renee Tomky of Holyoke were united in marriage Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Holyoke.

The groom is the son of Francisco and Sara Rodriguez of Holyoke. He is a 2005 graduate of Holyoke High School and is currently employed by Highline Electric Association as a lineman.

The bride is the daughter of Darrell and Debbie Tomky of Holyoke. She is a 2004 graduate of Holyoke High School and a 2008 graduate of Hastings College. She currently works for The Holyoke Enterprise as managing editor and designer.

The bride wore a white lace and tulle gown with a veil, and the groom wore a black suit with a white shirt and black tie. The groomsmen matched the groom, and the bridesmaids wore floor-length chiffon dresses in dark green.

Ron Koch, friend of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen included Israel Rodriguez, brother of the groom; Hiram Rodriguez, brother of the groom; Joel Rodriguez, brother of the groom; and Alberto Ramos, brother-in-law of the groom.

Nicole Tomky, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Maribel Rodriguez, sister-in-law of the groom; Alejandra Aguirre, sister-in-law of the groom; Keila Lopez, cousin of the groom; and Bianca Ramos, sister of the groom.

Ring bearers were Eli Rodriguez and Samuel Robledo, nephews of the groom. Flower girls were Raquel Ramos, Aridai Robledo, Andrea Sanchez Lopez and Alejandra Sanchez Lopez, nieces of the groom.

Pastor Ismael Lopez, uncle of the groom, performed the ceremony, and Abby Garcia, cousin of the groom, was the translator. Pastor Jeremiah and Samantha Krieger, friends of the couple, presented a special Bible. Koch and Israel Rodriguez led those in attendance in a worship song accompanied by guitar.

A reception was held at Phillips County Event Center. Decorations included light pink and white flowers with greenery, glass jars, wooden archways, string lights and rose gold accents.

The couple honeymooned in Key West, Florida. They continue to reside in Holyoke.
