Savings campaign sees success

    For the 2019 America Saves Week, Colorado State University Extension partnered with local banks to promote personal savings.   
    Adult patrons received a leather business card wallet, and youth received a piggy bank when they opened a savings account or deposited $10 or more in their savings account during the America Saves Week, Feb. 25-March 3.  
    The six banks saw a total of 16 adults and 12 youth make savings deposits. Together, the savings deposits that week totaled $56,240.72, and three new savings accounts were opened.
