Schelling reward increased to $100,000 in Feb.

    For the month of February 2019 only, the Schelling/Saxton family is offering a $100,000 reward (in total) to the person(s) who provide(s) information leading to loved one and missing person Kelsie Schelling’s direct return or location.
    The reward increase from $50,000 to $100,000 is in remembrance of the sixth anniversary of Schelling’s disappearance and to honor her 28th birthday on Feb. 18.
    The person of interest in Schelling’s case is currently incarcerated and awaiting trial.
    Schelling’s family hopes that someone will find it in his/her heart to come forward before the case reaches its impending trial date. The identities and contact information of submitting parties may remain confidential.
    Her family implores anyone and everyone to submit any information and leads, no matter how irrelevant they may consider them to be.

    Schelling has been missing since Feb. 4, 2013. Her last known whereabouts are in Pueblo, and she has not been seen or heard from since. Donthe Lucas, Schelling’s boyfriend at the time of her disappearance, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in Schelling’s death.
    At the time of her disappearance, Schelling was eight weeks pregnant with Lucas’ child. Schelling’s baby would have been born in early autumn of 2013. The Schelling/Saxton family and friends have named the baby as Schelling had wished: Kadrie.
    
Prayer vigils held Monday
    Colorado Missing Persons Day was Monday, Feb. 4, at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. The event ended with a prayer vigil outside on the west steps of the Capitol, which included a reading of the names of those missing in Colorado and a bubble release.
    A virtual prayer vigil to honor Schelling was also held Monday. Schelling’s family presented an online, worldwide virtual event that featured heartfelt videos, songs and photos.
