Seventh Day Slumber headlining Small Town Worship

Free concert in Wray on Oct. 23

In a move to take contemporary Christian music to small towns that may not otherwise have the opportunity to see such artists live, Seventh Day Slumber is headlining the Small Town Worship Tour. Northeastern Colorado will get a taste of the music on Tuesday, Oct. 23, when the tour stops in Wray.
Weather permitting, the show will be held at the Wray Lions Amphitheater at 34232 County Road JJ, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the show starting at 6 p.m. In the case of bad weather, the concert will be moved to the Kitzmiller auditorium at Wray High School.
Thanks to sponsorship by local churches, the concert in Wray is free and open to the public.
Opening acts for the Tuesday concert are singer-songwriters Brooke Robertson and Nathan Sheridan. Robertson’s EP “Have My Heart” is described as a worship-infused pop project, while Sheridan’s “Broken With You” boasts upbeat vintage funk, modern CCM pop and hints of indie folk.
Christian rock band Seventh Day Slumber will be rounding out the evening. The band had humble indie beginnings over 20 years ago, when co-founded by a recovered cocaine addict. Since then, the group has put out albums that landed on the Billboard Heatseekers charts, a well as a number of top-10 singles, all the while maintaining an “unabashed gospel message.”
