Shine up cars for Dandelion Daze June 23

    If there’s a classic car, pickup or motorcycle in the back of the garage, now’s the time to pull it out, shine it up and take it for a spin before Dandelion Daze rolls into town.
    The 18th annual event coordinated by Holyoke Chamber of Commerce will be at the Phillips County Court House lawn Saturday, June 23 (a week later than it usually is).

    Registration the day of the event is set for 8-11 a.m., with the Show & Shine lasting until 3 p.m. when participants will take a cruise down main street.
    Awards will be presented at 2:30 p.m. for the top 15 entries, rodder’s choice, people’s choice and top bike.
    The June 23 lineup also includes the Dandelion Dash 5K run/walk at 8 a.m. (City Park), registration for the poker run at 8 a.m. and vendor booths and free kids’ games from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
