Summer fun heats up in Holyoke
Temperatures soared to the mid-90s for seven days straight last week before peaking at 100 F Sunday, June 7, in Holyoke. Even though most of the typical organized activities have been canceled this summer, families are still finding creative ways to get out of the house and have fun. The Deweese family said they’ve been spending a lot of time at Homesteaders Park. Lyndsie, at left, and Wyatt are having fun with a toy fishing pole at the park’s water feature Monday, June 8.
