Teens go retro in summer reading program
This summer, teens going into fifth grade and up are having a rockin’ time in Heginbotham Library’s teen summer reading program. On Fridays through the month of June, they meet up for snacks, games, prizes and, of course, reading. On June 15, they enjoyed a ’50s-style diner lunch and sang karaoke. Pictured from left, Eva Kramer, Charlotte Kramer, Nicole Schlachter and Sophia Bencomo sing “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The program still has plenty of fun activities planned before the month is over, including such things as playing games and going roller skating.
