There’s nothing cookie cutter about this year, including recreation programs

Tyler Vermeulen, Daniel Schroetlin and Josh Vermeulen, pictured from left, use the cookie cutters of their choice to make unique and tasty treats. The three were part of a June 30 cookie decorating class hosted by the City of Holyoke recreation department and taught by Jen Ingram of Brewed Awakening Coffee and Bake Shop. Adding their own personal touch in every step of the process from start to finish, participants measured out their ingredients, mixed the dough, rolled it out, cut cookies, baked them and finally decorated them with colorful frosting.
