Top 10 Mission Patches

    Phillips County Museum currently has a limited-time NASA exhibit on display. The collection is centered on the mission patches from the first 100 missions of the NASA Space Shuttle Program, the first of which launched April 12, 1981. The Holyoke Enterprise has selected the top 10 most interesting patches, but readers will have to see the collection for themselves to see if they agree.
    All of the patches were collected by the late Elton and Eunice Oltjenbruns. Their daughter Jeri and her husband Terry Jones worked at Cape Canaveral and made a point to send a patch from each launch.
