Trees bow down to high winds
Many Holyoke residents woke up Sunday morning, June 24, to large tree boughs littering their yards and streets, thanks to high winds and rain Saturday night. This downed tree in the 700 block of South Reynolds Avenue is just one example of the damage around town. City crews could be seen out and about first thing Monday morning to help clean up the branches piled along Holyoke’s streets. The city recorded 0.66 inch of rain June 23-24.
