United States nears 100,000 COVID-19 deaths

Positive COVID-19 cases were reported Monday, May 25, as follows:

— Northeast Colorado: 1,257 cases including Morgan County, 612; Logan County, 582; Washington County, 32; Yuma County, 19; Phillips County, 12; and Sedgwick County, zero. The Northeast Colorado Health Department also reported that Morgan County has had 41 deaths and Logan County three.

Logan County’s numbers are related to an ongoing investigation of an outbreak at the Sterling Correctional Facility, and Washington County now has an investigation of an outbreak at the Washington County Justice Center.
