Vaccine drawing announced

In an effort to get more Coloradans vaccinated against COVID-19, Gov. Jared Polis announced the Colorado Comeback Cash vaccine drawing, where vaccinated Coloradans will have the opportunity to win $1 million.

Currently, nearly 2.5 million Coloradans are fully immunized, and it is hoped that with this new public health initiative, that number will only continue growing.

Each week for five weeks, one winner will be selected. Winners will be announced on June 4, 11, 18 and 25, with the final winner being announced on July 7.

To be eligible to win and claim the prize, a person must:

— Be a living resident of Colorado.

— Be at least 18.

— Not be an administrator of the Colorado Immunization Information System, a Colorado Lottery employee conducting the drawing, an auditor certifying the drawing, the governor of Colorado, the lieutenant governor of Colorado or the senior director of the Colorado Lottery.

— Have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
