Valles to present in Julesburg April 7
The Fort Sedgwick Historical Society is pleased to bring Ken Valles to Julesburg for his presentation, “The Gold Spike and Railroad Chapel Cars,” on Sunday, April 7, at the Historic Hippodrome Theatre.
Even though he was born in Chicago, Valles has studied and traveled much of the American West and Southwest over the last 40 years, including working with people of the Navajo Nation. He has also studied the Pacific Theater of World War II and Japanese martial arts for over 35 years.
Valles has made various presentations in several states and foreign countries. He began KP Chronicles to share America’s unique history with young and old alike, including patriotism, culture, little known facts and elements of faith.
