Watering tips offered July 13

    A workshop is set for Saturday, July 13, from 10-11 a.m. at the Burlington Library to cover watering for trees, perennials, turf and vegetables.  
    These tips are helpful to homeowners and serious gardeners. Included in this workshop will be information on mulching and mulches.  Mulching helps reduce watering and helps control weeds.
    The final workshop in the series will be Saturday, Aug. 10, from 10-11 a.m. with the topic of fall vegetable gardening, fall clean-up and next year’s preparation. Participants will learn why it is better for some crops to wait until fall to grow the crop.
