Website continues ministry of former Amherst pastor

Launched in June, a new website called My Life for Christ was created to continue the ministry and honor the Rev. Harold H. Brauer, a Lutheran minister who lived from 1910-98. His 40-plus years of ministry included stints in Amherst and Julesburg.

There is a collection of more than 2,000 downloadable sermons. The website also includes photos from parishes, voice recordings of radio devotions from 1947, personal and family history, hymns Brauer wrote in his career and a history of his athletic career.
